The short version. Spindle is free to use, no account needed, and provided as-is. Use it in your streams, change anything you like, share it with anyone. You are responsible for your own use of it. We are not affiliated with any game publisher.
Not an official product. Spindle is an independent, free fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any game developer or publisher. Game names, logos, and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the games this tool works with.
Accepting these terms
By using Spindle you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. These terms apply to the site, the wheel, the daily challenge pages, and anything you download from them.
What you can do
- Use Spindle free of charge, for yourself or your stream or your community.
- Use it commercially, including monetised streams and videos.
- Include it as an overlay in your content, and record and publish that content.
- Change it, break it, run it on your own server, or reuse any part of it.
- Write your own challenges for your own wheel.
- Link to it, share it, and tell people about it.
No permission needed, no attribution required. If you want to link back to the site or the Patreon you are welcome to, but it is entirely your call.
What you may not do
- Present the site or your use of it in a way that suggests it is official, endorsed, or operated by a game publisher.
- Use game logos or marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation, or that could confuse viewers about who made what.
- Misrepresent who operates the site.
- Attempt to gain access to other people's accounts or stored settings.
- Interfere with the site or its infrastructure, including automated traffic that degrades it for others.
Your content, including custom challenges
Challenges you write using the site's tools belong to you, and Spindle claims no ownership of them. By default anything you create is stored only in your own browser and is not published to anyone else.
If you deliberately submit a challenge for inclusion in the official list, you give My Game My Life Productions permission to publish it on this site, in the Discord daily posts, and in any other Spindle channel. You keep your copyright in it. You can ask for it to be removed at any time and we will take it down.
Please do not submit anything you do not have the right to share, and nothing you would object to being published.
Your account
You do not need an account to use Spindle. If you sign in, you are responsible for keeping access to your own account. You must be old enough to hold a Google account to use sign-in.
We may remove an account that is being used to disrupt the site, to attack it, or in response to a valid legal request. We will tell you if we do this unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
No warranty
Spindle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Game My Life Productions and anyone involved in making Spindle are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, even if we were told such damage was possible.
Because the site is free, our total liability to you for anything connected with it cannot exceed the greater of the amount you paid us, which is nothing, or 100 USD.
Game rules still apply
Spindle helps you pick challenges to play. It does not change any game's terms of service or its anti-cheat rules, and playing a challenge in a way a game prohibits may get your account banned by that game's publisher. That is between you and the game, not Spindle. Check each game's rules yourself, and use challenges that stay within them.
Changes
We may update the site, change features, or retire it. We may also update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
How these terms are enforced
These terms are between you and My Game My Life Productions. If you break them, we may stop serving you. Formal legal action is unlikely to be worth it for a free tool, and we would rather ask you to stop than take anyone to court.
Contact
Questions about these terms can go to qaulity1441@gmail.com, or to us on Discord. We read both.
